Where are you based?

We are based in Cardiff, South Wales.

What areas do you cover?

Currently we cover South and Mid Wales, and the South West of England. (Please get in touch if you would like our help and your event is further afield - we’d love to hear from you).

Can I come and see items before I choose to hire them?

Yes you can. When you enquire with us we will arrange a consultation in person or virtually where we can go through our hire library and any items that interest you.

How long can I hire your items for?

Standard hire period is 3 days but flexible, please chat to us about any specific requirements you may have.

What’s your minimum spend?

Our minimum spend for hire is £250, please contact us with any specific hire questions.

Do you take a deposit?

After having your initial consultation with us and receiving your proposal, we will require a non-refundable 20% booking deposit to secure your date.

Once I have booked what happens next?

After you have sent your initial enquiry, had your consultation and paid your deposit to secure your date, we will be on hand for any questions you have and any advice you need in regards to your event. We will send you an invoice and will require full payment at least 4 weeks prior to your event.

How & when do I pay?

Full payment will be required 4 weeks prior to your event date. We will send you an invoice after booking with all the payment details.

What if I need to cancel?

Please inform us of cancellations at least 60 days prior to your event date. Deposit payments are non-refundable.

What happens if I change the date?

Please inform us of any changes to your event date as soon as possible and we will endeavour to accommodate you but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible. Please inform us of any date changes or cancellations at least 60 days before your event. Deposit payments are non-refundable.

When do you set up?

Set up times and arrangements often vary depending on your chosen venue, but most venues ask that set up is done on the morning of your event. We will arrange all set up details with you and confirm this at least 4 weeks prior to your event.

Do you collect & pack down the next day?

Pack down and collection arrangements vary based on your chosen venue but is usually done the day after your event. These details will also be confirmed with you at least 4 weeks prior to your event.

Do you do small events?

Yes we do. No event is too small. We offer micro packages for up to 40 guests and can also build a bespoke quote for you based on your requirements, get in touch to discuss this with us.

Do you do corporate events?

Yes we do.  Please contact us to discuss your event and requirements. We also offer discounts to fellow industry colleagues so do get in touch if we can help with your event / photoshoot / project.

Do you do floristry?

We love working alongside other suppliers, such as amazing local florists. We occasionally provide floral / foliage displays to accompany our decor but our key focus is decor and styling so can provide florist recommendations on request. 

Can you style my event with products outside of The Install Co hire library?

When you have booked a package with us we may be able to also set up and style other products for you, please chat with us about this in your consultation. We cannot guarantee we will be able to do this if not pre-arranged prior to your event. There may be an additional charge for this if they are intricate or large items. Please note, we cannot take responsibility for any stock that is not our own.

What happens if I break or lose an item?

Please inform us as soon as possible of any lost or damaged items. Full details on breakages and replacement fees will be sent upon booking with us. 

Do you charge for delivery?

For package bookings we deliver and set up free of charge within a 40 mile radius of Cardiff. Events further than this will have a delivery charge of 70p per mile. For hire only, we can either arrange for you to collect from us (from our offices in Cardiff) or we may be able to deliver to you, delivery costs will be calculated depending on your location and contents of your order.
